Her New Orleans upbringing influences her affinity for vintage flea markets, where she has a knack for discovering unique pieces that blend effortlessly with contemporary items, achieving a harmonious balance of feminine and masculine design elements. 

Kate’s adaptability and dedication to conveying each client's unique story infuse a distinctive charm into every project. Alongside her business partner, Amy, she co-created the TV series Capturing Home.

𝙌: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩?
A: I was in school, art college and hated what I was focussing on which was graphic design. I accidentally found out about styling and from the minute I saw that I could get paid to do this, I knew it was for me. It's tactile, fun and creative.

𝙌: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨/𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨?
A: What I value most about working with photographers is their eye. We all see things differently, if you are open to looking at it from a diff perspective you will learn so much! It's a team effort to create a beautiful image, I love being part of that team.

A: The advice I would give my young self is, don't take things personally. Everyone's a critic when you are young. Don't let that crush you or stop you from working hard and being open to making mistakes.

A: When keeping up with trends, I always make sure that I incorporate them with things that remain classic at the same time. This way your image feels timeless despite it's current usage.
